Thanks for the response.  Cartridges worked fine. They dried out so i have to suck some ink by mounth and have rainbow teeth for  some hours  ;D . But its really annoying to not know the level of ink and the orange light blinking all the time. Some times it wont print and  you have to press the tricolor button to make it print. kindly let me know if you knew any method to solve this problem

Welcome to our forum.
And Thanks for joining and sharing your problem with us.


On your case you can not reset your cartridge as shown in the internet.
I use HP 802 ink cartridge and the contact pin of cartridge is similar to you.


Let you inform you that there is no way to reset the cartridge. Because there is no electric chip inserted in this type of cartridge.
You can use this cartridge by refilling it bur neither your Printer Display nor your device software will shown the actual ink level. It always say that the cartridge is empty.


Now your big problem is not that you refill the cartridge and ink display show it is empty but the main problem is the cartridge does not print anything. Right?


Solution: Look at the opposite side of the contact pin side. There is written the date of cartridge expire. Only after the date of expire you can use the cartridge. If you want to use the cartridge then you have to maintain the 3 cartridge method. i.e. you need to have 3 cartridge you have to use in randomly. for this you need to buy 2 more cartridge may be original or empty cartridge from local store. Once the your cartridge is expired then you can use your cartridge freely. And then your printer will print by do not disturb you more.


So the main matter is either you use the 3 cartridge method or you can wait till the cartridge expire.

I have refilled the ink cartridges but printer wont show new ink levels. Still no ink and printer is not printing any thing. After searching the net, i now knew how to reset some of the ink cartridges by applying tape on the contact points. The problem is this hp 650 in cartridges only have 2 rows of contact points so i dont know how to reset this ****. Plz help me.  Photos are attatched !!!
